Shakira, hailing from Colombia, first debuted in the music scene in 1990 with the guidance of Sony Music. Since then, she has gained immense fame as one of the most celebrated Latin artists across the globe with her unique music style that has mesmerized audiences since the mid-90s. Her music has transcended borders and has achieved a staggering sales figure of over 125 million albums worldwide. Shakira’s talent has been recognized through numerous awards, having won an incredible 480 accolades out of 945 nominations, making her the most awarded Latin artist of all time. With three Grammy Awards and 12 Latin Grammy Awards under her belt, Shakira is an inspiration for many aspiring musicians.

In 2002, Shakira received recognition for her talent when she won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Music Video for her song “Suerte.” The following year, in 2003, she made history by winning four awards out of eleven nominations.
